Highlights of software version 2.2

Advanced lighting automation

SoundSwitch’s already impressive autoscripting feature gets a significant upgrade, thanks to speed improvements and single lighting fixture assignment. The DMX Universe menu now offers primary, secondary and tertiary wash and spot fixture assignments, as well as strobe/blind assignments. This new advanced lighting automation with individual fixture assignments creates professional and immersive lightshows in seconds.

Automated Phrase Detection

This exciting new feature automatically detects larger sections of music, including intros and outros, main sections one and two, and intermediate and bridge sections. In addition, automated phrase detection can recognize unique musical features within these sections, such as drops, breakdowns, and build-ups. Previously, this was exclusively a manual process, but with version 2.2, everything is automated and easier than ever!

Redesigned User Interface

With version 2.2, users experience a more modern and uncluttered work environment. The new interface provides quick access to the automation button, and a new automation settings window, including presets and advanced options, allows for fully customized autoscript lightshows.

Support for new DJ hardware

SoundSwitch v2.2 is now compatible with Denon DJ’s latest standalone products: SC6000, SC6000M, X1850,PRIME 2 and PRIME GO. A new Engine OS option has been added to the Settings page, allowing users to choose between Players + Mixers or All-in-One.

In addition, v2.2 offers the following notable improvements

Venues can be duplicated (fixture data only)
Beat grids can be emptied, doubled and halved
Copy and paste between venues (single tracks only)
Numerous stability optimizations and improvements
